A new search advancement has fanned the flames of the Facebook privacy debate, according to Tech Crunch.

FacebookSearch, created by Peter Burns and Will Moffat, allows anyone to make a general Facebook status search. All Facebook status', whether your page is public or private, are made available in this search.

FacebookSearch can have major implications for Facebook users. The search agent suggests searches to make such as "playing hooky," "don't tell anyone," "rectal exam," and "HIV test." Not only can you make a general search but you can narrow your search to only females or only males.

This new search agent enhances fears of an ever growing problem of unregulated privacy issues on the internet and in new technology.
