Major League Lacrosse starting 2015 schedule earlier, could change ball color

Major League Lacrosse is planning on starting the 2015 season earlier than in the past, with April 11 as the proposed start date, two weeks earlier than the 2014 season began. The final regular-season game in the National Lacrosse League is set for May 2, meaning there will be more overlap between MLL and NLL seasons if MLL starts earlier.
