Three girls volleyball teams still alive after Monday's play

Nine girls volleyball teams went on the courts Monday, but just three survived the latest round of regonal playoffs. Among them, the county's best team, Bel Air, moved on in Class 3A North-Section II semifinal play. The Bobcats beat visiting C. Milton Wright, 3-1, by scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-16. Bel Air was led by Kaitlin Cassaday who had 16 kills, one block, three aces and six digs and Taylor White, who had 11 kills. Mariah Thomas contributed five kills, two service aces and two blocks.
