Running: County athletes take top awards at Survivor Harbor 7 races

Harford County residents captured several of the top awards in the annual Survivor Harbor 7 races in Baltimore Saturday. Luke Belford won the men's 7-mile race, leading 513 runners across the finish line at Canton Waterfront Park in 39:09. The 28-year-old APG employee finished 19 seconds ahead of runner-up Elijah Kosgei of Baltimore. Katie Wirth, of Abingdon, led the women in the 4-mile race. She finished in 27:14, about 300 meters ahead of the runner-up and eighth overall in the field of 184 runners.
