Multitasking Owings Mills student is county Young Woman of the Year

Owings Mills High School senior Kenisha Brannon is a young woman on the go. Between her duties as president of the Owings Mills High School Student Government Association (SGA), competing in multiple events for the school's track team, and her membership in the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society and the Future Business Leaders of America, the 17-year-old has little time for a teenager's most precious commodity — sleep.

"People always ask me if I sleep," says Brannon, who regularly burns the midnight oil studying until 1:30 a.m. She occasionally catches catnaps before track and field meets.
