Digest (Feb. 1): Northwestern's Amonte Hiller to coach U.S. women's U19 lacrosse team

Former Maryland standout Kelly Amonte Hiller, a three-time U.S. Women's World Cup team member and a nine-time NCAA champion as a player and coach, has been named as the head coach for the U.S. women's team that will compete in the 2019 Federation of International Lacrosse Women's U19 World Championship in Peterborough, Ontario. In 16 seasons at Northwestern, Amonte Hiller has a 265-67 record, winning seven national championships, including five straight from 2005 to 2009. Amonte Hiller will be looking to return the United States to the top of the world rankings after Canada upset the Americans, 9-8, in the gold-medal game at the 2015 FIL Women's U19 World Championship...
