Former Archbishop Curley star Oumar Ballo was selected in the second round of the Major League Soccer Superdraft on Thursday. The 30th overall pick by the Houston Dynamo, Ballo was a three-year starter at UMBC and the program's first two-time All-America selection. This season, he was the main cog on defense as the Retrievers (14-6-5) reached the College Cup for the first time in program history.
