George Radosevich, an offensive lineman who played for the Colts from 1954 to 1956, died Monday in Anderson, S.C., after a long illness. He was 88. The Colts claimed Radosevich, who'd served in the Marines, off waivers from the Cleveland Browns. The former Pitt star was Baltimore's starting center in 1954 — the franchise's second year in the NFL — before moving to tackle. A 6-foot-3, 230 pound player, he suffered a knee injury in 1956 and retired.
