3. Dan Le Batard: LeBron in a quiet bubble with noise all around him

The Miami Herald
MIAMI There is still so much infernal noise all around LeBron James. Sirens. Howling. Nonsense. Tony Parker makes one lucky shot, one-tenth of a second the difference between stumbling fool and Game 1 hero, and this is supposed to mean something outside...

5. Heat's Battier not fitting in this postseason like he did last year

The Miami Herald
MIAMI The Heat's starting lineup in last June's NBA Finals with Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers joining the Big 3 proved to be ideal combination against Oklahoma City. But this postseason, when Battier has come off the bench and joined the four others,...

7. Heat teammates back struggling Chris Bosh

The Miami Herald

11. Heat's Battier's game goes sour again in Game 1

The Miami Herald

The Miami Herald

17. Five takeaways from Heat-Spurs Game 1 of the NBA Finals

1. For all his accomplishments, Tony Parker remains underrated. The San Antonio point guard is a five-time All-Star who has won three NBA titles. And he still doesn’t get enough credit. His 10-point fourth quarter during the Spurs’ 92-88 victory over Miami in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night was another eye-opening example of his greatness. Included in that scoring barrage were an incredible spin move for a layup, a tough jumper to put San Antonio up by six points and that hanging, banked-in jumper over LeBron James at the end of the shot clock with 5.2 seconds left that accounted for the game’s final points. He was so good that he sent Eva Longoria into a Twitter tizzy, with his ex-wife tweeting, “Go Spurs Go! I say Spurs in 5!!!!”

19. Chris Bosh and teammates defend his 3-point shots

The Chris Bosh bashers came out of the woodwork after he went 0-for-4 from 3-point territory, including a critical wide-open miss from the wing with a minute left that would've sliced the Spurs' lead to one point in what became a 92-88 Game 1 loss Thursday.
