The Baltimore City cross country championship meet scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed and now will be run Saturday at 2 p.m. at Herring Run Park. Northwestern athletic director Jerry Molyneaux is handling the meet and said the combination of poor weather and running conditions forced them to make this decision Wednesday morning. He said there were especially concerns about the competitors running up and down hills because of the rain. Meet officials didn't want anyone to slip or fall and get injured this late in the season. The meet's 2 p.m. start time Saturday is due to the ACT testing scheduled for that morning.
