2013 Howard County wrestling rankings, third edition
The rankings were much easier to compile this week, owing to the fact that all of the groundwork had been laid for last week's first edition. But that's not to say that there isn't anything new to see here. Tuesday's slate of dual meets had a handful of upsets that affected the rankings, and several wrestlers find new weight classes in this edition. Some of the most noteworthy results since last week's rankings include Mt. Hebron's Josh Kendrick (previously No. 4 at 106) over Reservoir's Tyler Ponton (prev. No. 3), Mt. Hebron's previously unranked Steven Sung (126) over Reservoir's Joe Quattrone (prev. No. 3), Hammond's Anthony Solis (previously No. 6 at 138) over Wilde Lake's Tyler Anderson (prev. No. 5) and, in a battle of top-ranked 182-pounders, Oakland Mills' Robby Happy (previously No. 2) over Howard's Jared Rodriguez (prev. No. 1).

UConn Has The Will, Stays Alive By Beating Louisville
There was just no describing the look on Chad Christen's face after he missed four field goals in a three-point overtime loss at home to Temple last month. "Eh, I forgot all about that game," an elated Christen said Saturday. "That game didn't happen....

    Keep Feeding The Bear, UConn
It doesn't matter if Pittsburgh had its heart broken in a three-overtime loss last weekend at Notre Dame. It doesn't matter if initially it looked as if the Panthers forgot to pack their hearts for the flight to Connecticut. Not to UConn anyway. What...
