American racecar driver Trevor Bayne was born on Feb. 19, 1991, in Knoxville, Tenn. He started racing go-karts at the age of 5. During the following eight years, he won three world championships, 300 feature wins and 18 state and track championships. In 2004, he went to the Allison Legacy Race Series and became the youngest top rookie. In 2005, he became the series' national champion and winning races during the next two years. He moved to the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series Southern Division when he was 15; he received the highest rookie honors. In 2008, he won his first race at Thompson International Speedway.
