Major League Lacrosse Bayhawks' Dixon retires after eight years Veteran midfielder and All-Pro Kyle Dixon has announced that he is retiring from Major League Lacrosse. Dixon spent eight seasons in MLL, all with the Bayhawks. He played high school lacrosse for Archbishop Spalding and college lacrosse at Virginia, where he was a first-team All-American his senior season and won national championships in 2003 and 2006. Dixon was selected second overall in the 2006 MLL college draft by the then-Baltimore Bayhawks. He led MLL midfielders in assists and was named to the 2007 All-Star team and the All-MLL team. Overall, Dixon appeared in 102 games, recording 133 goals (55 2-point goals)...
