The Joppatowne Mariners were pushed to the limit on Monday, but still managed to keep their Susquehanna (lower) Division boys basketball record spotless by beating the visiting Harford Tech Cobras, 74-62, in overtime. The victory put the Mariners at 13-2 overall, and 10-0 in Susquehanna matchups, while the Cobras fell to 4-8 overall, and 3-6 against lower-division opponents. Joppatowne led, 29-25, at halftime, and the game was tied, 56-56, after the fourth quarter. Joppatowne's Khalil Gore led the Mariners with 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals.
