Becca Meyers cruises to second gold at Paralympic world swimming championships

Becca Meyers, who will be a freshman on the Loyola University Maryland swimming and diving team in 2013-14, won her second goal medal at the International Paralympic Committee World Swimming Championships on Friday night in Montreal. The Timonium native from Notre Dame Prep won the 400-meter freestyle in the S13 category by nearly 23 seconds, touching the wall in 4 minutes, 35.98 seconds. Spain's Marta Maria Gomez Battelli was second in 4:58.61. The gold was Meyers' second of the games, and third medal overall.
