The Florida Everblades continued to be a riddle that has perplexed the Orlando Solar Bears on Wednesday night.
Despite an early goal from T.J. Foster and another from Eric Faille in his return to Orlando, the Solar Bears (31-26-4-5, 71 points) lost 3-2 to the Everblades (43-21-0-2, 88 points) at Amway Center. The ECHL game drew an announced crowd of 6,144 fans, who witnessed the Solar Bears' third consecutive loss.
Orlando slipped to 3-7 against Florida, including 1-5 at home.
"We made plays,'' Orlando coach Anthony Noreen said. "We had the better of the chances. Honestly, there were a lot of things I liked. I just didn't like the final result.
