Power plays push Penguins past Blue Jackets, 5-3

PITTSBURGH Three power-play goals powered the Penguins to a 5-3 win against Columbus Sunday at Consol Energy Center. Penguins center Evgeni Malkin finished with two goals and an assist, giving him six points in his last two games after a three-assist performance in Washington Wednesday. Defenseman Kris Letang and center Sidney Crosby added two assists each. After a slow start to the game, James Wisniewski put the Blue Jackets up 1-0 at 17:33 of the first period with a one-timer from the left circle that got past Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury's blocker before he could slide across the crease. The lead lasted barely over a minute, though, as Malkin's first goal of the game...
