WASHINGTON — Replacing Sean Couturier will take more than a one-man army.
The Philadelphia Flyers learned on Friday that they will be without their valuable second-line center for a minimum of two weeks, which means he will miss the rest of Philadelphia's first round series against the Capitals.
Couturier appeared to suffer an injury to his left shoulder during a collision with Washington's Alexander Ovechkin at 11:11 of the second period in Thursday night's 2-0 loss to the Capitals.
The 23-year-old center immediately grabbed at his arm, skated off and went directly to the Flyers' locker room. He did not return to action.
