  • Brigance Brigade 5.7K to be held Saturday in Canton

    Former Raven O.J. Brigance and his wife, Chanda Brigance, will host the first Brigance Brigade 5.7K on Saturday in Canton. In honor of Brigance's jersey number, 57, the event will feature a timed 5.7K run as well as a 1-mile run/walk and a Kids' Fun Run. Proceeds will go toward furthering the mission of the Brigance Brigade Foundation, which helps empower people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Brigance joined the Ravens in 2000, helped the team win Super Bowl XXXV and now works as the Ravens' senior advisor to player development. He was diagnosed with ALS, a motor neuron disease also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in 2007. For information, go to brigancebrigade.org.
