Penguins win in shootout after blowing lead

OTTAWA, Ontario David Perron scored during the shootout to give the Penguins a 5-4 victory against Ottawa at the Canadian Tire Centre Thursday night. He was the only shooter on either team to score. The Penguins won despite squandering a 3-0 lead they had built during the first two periods. The victory was the Penguins' fourth in their past five games and raised their record to 32-15-8, allowing them to remain one point behind the first-place New York Islanders in the Metropolitan Division.
