Sharks lose to Capitals in overtime

SAN JOSE, Calif. The San Jose Sharks played their best game of their homestand but still couldn't avoid their third straight loss. Joel Ward of the Washington Capitals scored with 2:18 left in overtime, handing the Sharks a 5-4 loss Wednesday night in a wild, back-and forth game at SAP Center.
