Senators take advantage of Wild penalties en route to 3-0 victory

OTTAWA, Ontario The common complaint amongst old-school hockey fans in Minnesota is there's not enough toughness on the Wild and players rarely defend teammates after they get run. Maybe fair, maybe unfair for a team that certainly lacks ruggedness and is built more on speed and finesse. Thursday night at Canadian Tire Centre, Marco Scandella obliged the old-schoolers. The horse of a defenseman, who has been one of the Wild's best players this season, stood up for Jason Pominville after the beloved veteran was nailed by a clean check early in the second period.
