Senators top Hurricanes in overtime, 2-1

RALEIGH, N.C. The "Hamburglar" legend continues to grow for the Ottawa Senators. Senators goalie Andrew Hammond matched an NHL record as the Sens topped the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 in overtime on Mark Stone's goal with 13.4 seconds remaining. Hammond, nicknamed the "Hamburglar," became the second goalie in NHL history to allow two or fewer goals in his first 12 NHL starts. He tied the record set by Frank Brimsek with the Boston Bruins in 1938.
