It was Game 5 of the 2015 Western Conference finals between the Ducks and Blackhawks and Bryan Bickell wasn’t feeling like himself.
Bickell said he his body was aching and he was getting tired when he shouldn’t have been. It was the start of symptoms that eventually led doctors to conclude Bickell had multiple sclerosis, a disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the central nervous system.
