Blues, Brodeur agree to tryout

Future Hall of Fame goaltender Martin Brodeur has agreed to a tryout with the Blues. Brodeur, 42, will be on the ice with the club on Friday, an opportunity that will give the Blues an chance to choose whether to offer a contract to the free-agent netminder who has spent the past 21 seasons with the New Jersey Devils. Neither Blues general manager Doug Armstrong nor Brodeur will be commenting on the arrangement until after Friday's practice.
