Penguins rally past Coyotes, 3-2, with third-period flurry

PITTSBURGH The Penguins were scoreless for more than 47 minutes on Saturday afternoon, stymied by Arizona Coyotes goalie Mike Smith. Then, if by sheer persistence, the goals came, a first by Daniel Winnik, a second from Steve Downie, then a third by Sidney Crosby, to add up to a much-needed 3-2 win. Winnik put away a rebound at 7:16 of the third period to tie the game 1-1. Downie drilled a shot from the point at 9:19 on the power play to make it 2-1.
