Sit out period ends on Monday for fall transfer athletes

After sitting out more than a month of the 2015-16 sports season, dozens of students who transferred without moving will become eligible on Monday in the sports of football, cross country, girls’ volleyball, girls' golf and boys’ water polo. Some teams can’t wait to unleash athletes who have been practicing but were ineligible to compete. In football, Birmingham will get two new starters in Edward Keller, an offensive lineman from Calabasas, and Christian Moore, a defensive end from Chaminade.
