Jordan Spieth wore golf shoe with sensor technology

In March, Jordan Spieth launched Under Armour’s first line of golf shoes.

At the U.S. Open last month, Spieth and Under Armour tried something a little different -- a “smart’ shoe with sensor technology.

“When it comes to daily activity, Jordan could not wear a wearable device (UA Band) on the course to track his performance during competition,” said a release on the technology.

So Under Armour created a shoe for him incorporating the same devices found in the brand’s “smart" running shoe called the Speedform Gemini 2 Record Equipped.
