Billy Hurley III shot a seven-under-par 63 on Friday to take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Greenbrier Classic at White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Hurley played bogey-free in shooting his lowest score of the season. The former U.S. Navy officer says it was “pretty cool” that it occurred on America's birthday. Hurley had a nine-under 131 total at Old White TPC. Kevin Chappell and Chris Stroud were tied for second. Chappell had a 65 and Stroud shot 66.
