I'm sure that House Speaker Michael E. Busch and Senate President Thomas V. Mike are very proud of themselves ("Released felons gain right to vote in Maryland after veto override," Feb. 9).
They have gone six for six in overriding all of Gov. Larry Hogan's vetoes.
I'm sorry, but if a judge sentences you to 10 years in prison and suspends all but three years — putting you on probation for the remaining seven — you have not repaid your debt to society until all of those years are served.
And let's not forget the fact that some of the felons on probation have...
