The rims at Irving Middle School in Maywood are indeed 10 feet off the floor. The pickup games there don't feature full NBA talent but enough to interest Rajon Rondo, who said he occasionally drags along teammate Isaiah Canaan.

Irving is where Rondo has been plying his trade beyond Bulls' practices to simulate the game shape he hadn't needed after getting benched for 5 1/2 games by an organization that promised him the starting point guard job last July.
