Former Ravens quarterback Troy Smith, a 2007 fifth-round draft choice after winning the Heisman Trophy at Ohio State, was arrested early this morning outside of Columbus, Ohio, on drunken driving and marijuana possession charges, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
He was later released after his arrest in Westerville, a suburb of Columbus.
Cpl. Greg Franey of the Westerville Division of Police told The Dispatch that Smith, 31, was pulled over on South State Street at 2:38 a.m., and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, improper display of a license plate and possession of marijuana.
