Penn State and running back Saquon Barkley made history Saturday night in a 42-13 victory over Michigan at Beaver Stadium.
Penn State set the program’s home attendance record at 110,823, also the sixth-largest audience ever for a Penn State game. In addition, Barkley became the first Penn State player to compile 3,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in a career.
With the victory, the Lions (7-0) remained No. 2 in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls and set up a Big Ten East showdown at No. 6 Ohio State next week. ESPN College GameDay will head from State College to Columbus for the game.
