Eight months ago, Shareece Wright came to the Ravens as a temporary solution. He signed with the team before Week 6 to fill the void left by Will Davis, who had torn his ACL in the previous game.
After starting seven out of his first 11 games with the team, Wright stepped onto the field Tuesday for mandatory minicamp as the Ravens’ best healthy cornerback. Jimmy Smith remains sidelined by an Achilles injury, and Davis continues his rehab from the ACL.
Wright resigned with the team in March, so he now has a more permanent home after spending months in flux last year.
