Of all the returning players on the roster, regardless if they were injured last year, Smith is the major key to the defense returning to prominence.
We're all aware that the Ravens need Pro Bowl outside linebackers Terrell Suggs (Achilles heel) and Elvis Dumervil (foot injury) to show they are healthy again and can provide a pass rush.
