Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler, who missed the New England Patriots game with a concussion, will start Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, according to coach Adam Gase.
Cutler is out of the concussion protocol Gase said, and practiced Wednesday.
Running back Damien Williams, who sustained a shoulder injury in last Sunday’s 35-17 loss at New England, didn’t practice Wednesday. Fellow running back Senorise Perry, who left the Patriots game with a concussion, also didn’t practice because he is in the concussion protocol.
The Dolphins promoted undrafted rookie running back De’Veon Smith from the practice squad to add depth on Wednesday.
