The Bears continue to work to fill out John Fox’s coaching staff for the 2017 season and one source said three candidates are under consideration for the wide receiver job that was vacated when Curtis Johnson informed the organization he was leaving shortly after the Senior Bowl.
Bob Bicknell, Ronald Curry and George McDonald have all been interviewed for the job, an NFL source told the Tribune.
Bicknell has worked for the 49ers, Eagles, Bills and Chiefs since 2007. He was a wide receivers coach last year in San Francisco and spent the three seasons prior to that in the same position in Philadelphia. He is the son of former Boston College coach Jack Bicknell.
