William Richard "Billy" Goodman, a Baltimore insurance executive, died Saturday of kidney disease at his Pikesville home. He was 81.
Mr. Goodman was born in Staunton, Va., and moved with his family to a home on Linden Avenue in Reservoir Hill.
After graduating from City College in 1948, Mr. Goodman earned a bachelor's degree in 1952 from the University of Maryland, College Park. In 1957, he earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore.
While attending law school, Mr. Goodman went to work as a public insurance adjuster at the Goodman-Gable-Gould Co., a family-owned business.
