1. Ravens say there's 'no such thing' as letdown vs. Titans

From the second they walked off the field after their 35-7 dismantling of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Ravens have said all the right things.

3. Scouting report: Ravens at Titans

RAVENS RUN OFFENSE VS. TITANS RUN DEFENSE: The Titans worked out six defensive linemen Tuesday as injuries and ineffectiveness have taken a toll on a unit they hoped would be improved after several offseason additions. In their season-opening 16-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Titans allowed 163 rushing yards. The Jaguars' game-opening 11-play touchdown drive featured nine runs totaling 49 yards. Defensive ends Derrick Morgan and Jason Jones, who both missed the opener with knee injuries, are back, so that could help stabilize a run defense that finished 20th in the NFL last season. But after rushing for 170 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens feel that they can run the ball against anybody. An offensive line that didn't play together the entire preseason exceeded the most optimistic expectations last week, and the additions of left tackle Bryant McKinnie and fullback Vonta Leach paid immediate dividends in front ofRay Rice.

5. Fantasy Fodder: So Jamaal Charles got hurt; now what?

When Jamaal Charles tore his ACL on Sunday, any hopes the Kansas City Chiefs had of making it back to the NFL playoffs were shredded. The season-ending injury to Charles, a top-five pick in most fantasy leagues, is also a devastating blow to fantasy owners who were banking on a monster season from the dual-threat back.

7. Rams figure to throw it around against the Ravens

Let’s be real here, rushing offense never figured to be a primary weapon in the Rams’ quest to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Let’s be real here, rushing offense never figured to be a primary weapon in the Rams’ quest to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. With linebacker Ray Lewis as the cork, Baltimore plugs holes and stuffs running backs as well as any team in...

9. Scouting the Ravens' three potential playoff opponents

Jarret Johnson is "a little sick of football" right now — at least when it comes to watching on TV.

11. Offseason preview for the Ravens' AFC North foes

We started to look ahead to the NFL offseason as soon as Billy Cundiff’s field goal fluttered off-target and we will dive headfirst into the offseason two weeks from now when the scouting combine begins in Indianapolis. In the meantime, let's take a glance at what the Ravens' AFC North opponents are tasked with this offseason.

13. Season recap: Wes Brown

Some talented football players could get overshadowed on an all-star-caliber team like Good Counsel. 15. First and 10: Monday afternoon NFL power rankings

Because doing a full, 32-team list of power rankings is too much work for a Monday afternoon, I will rank the top 11 teams in the NFL after each exciting football Sunday (that's where the "first and 10" comes in). Here is how I rank them heading into the playoffs (with an intriguing slate of four wild-card games starting Saturday):

17. Steven Jackson or not, Ravens run defense will be ready

St. Louis Rams star running back Steven Jackson wasn’t ruled out of Monday’s game against the New York Giants until about two hours before kickoff, when his on-field workout didn’t produce the necessary comfort level for the player or his team.
