EAST HARTFORD, Conn. —Maryland coach Randy Edsall might have felt a little disoriented walking out of the visitors locker room Saturday night at Connecticut's Rentschler Field.
Edsall spent a dozen seasons at UConn and was here when the stadium opened 10 years ago.
Wearing a black Maryland warmup suit, Edsall was greeted by a half-dozen photographers and television camera operators as he walked to midfield before the game and greeted Connecticut coach Paul Pasqualoni, the man who succeeded him. As he walked away, he stooped to pick up a blade of grass and tossed it into the air to see which way the wind was blowing.
