3. Pre-snap read: Ravens at Bengals

On the final day of the 2011 regular season, the Ravens (11-4) travel to Cincinnati to take on the desperate Bengals (9-6), who can secure a playoff spot with a win Sunday. The Ravens have a lot at stake, too, with a victory giving them the AFC North title, a first-round bye playoff and two weeks rest for a handful of ailing players.

5. Ravens face Bengals rookie A.J. Green for the first time

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is dealing with a shoulder injury, but the rookie is expected to play Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. Green didn’t play against the Ravens in their 31-24 win over the Bengals last month, but the Ravens are wary of the challenge he will pose.

7. First and 10: Monday afternoon NFL power rankings

Because doing a full, 32-team list of power rankings is too much work for a Monday afternoon, I will rank the top 11 teams in the NFL after each exciting football Sunday (that's where the "first and 10" comes in). Here's how I rank them entering the Divisional Round:

13. Ray Rice hosts energetic karaoke night at Rams Head Live

Unlike seasoned musicians, NFL players don't have much experiencing working a stage — they tend to get a standing ovation just for walking into a room (or a stadium).

15. Tebow wars: Give it a rest

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is an evangelical Christian. He is devoted to his faith in a very public way, and that, as much as his perplexing play on the football field, has made him a cultural lightning rod. The wise heads of football insisted before this season that he is not actually much of a quarterback, that he had a weak, inaccurate arm and a devotion to a style of play that works in college (where he was a star for the University of Florida) but not in the NFL. But his base of fans, seemingly devoted to him primarily because of his religion and only secondarily because of his play on the field, were vocal in demanding he get his chance. And he did, leading the once woeful Broncos to the playoffs on the back of one improbable fourth-quarter comeback after another.

On his first snap in Saturday's 20-14 win over the Cleveland Browns, Torrey Smith did it again.
On his first snap in Saturday's 20-14 win over the Cleveland Browns, Torrey Smith did it again. As quarterback Joe Flacco rolled to his right and heaved a high-arcing ball 65 yards down the field, the Ravens' rookie wide receiver got behind Browns...
