Digest: Dulaney grad Busko wins age group at Ironman Chattanooga

Billy Busko, a Cockeysville native and 1982 graduate of Dulaney, finished first in the men's 50-54 age group and 20th place overall at the Ironman Chattanooga with a personal-best time of 9 hours, 45 minutes, 44 seconds Sunday in Tennessee. Busko, who started racing again in July after recovering from a foot injury, qualified for the 2018 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. It was Busko's third Ironman victory after winning his age group at Ironman Canada in 2011 and Ironman Mont-Tremblant in 2015. Busko finished 38th in the men's 50-54 age group at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga on Sept. 10 with a time of 4:59:32.
