Quarterback Matt Schaub signed with the Ravens this summer as a one-year contingency plan to protect against an injury to starter Joe Flacco. Even though Flacco was lost for the season on Nov. 22, Schaub has started just twice before returning to the bench.
Schaub said Thursday that he suffered “a couple cracked ribs” in his two starts against the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins, and also separated his shoulder on a fourth-quarter hit against the Dolphins.
