3. Super Bowl victory seems like yesterday for Brian Billick

    — There are times where it seems like it was only a couple of years ago and he remembers everything, the way Baltimore fans rallied around his team, the Ravens' march to Super Bowl XXXV, even his pointed criticism of the national media about its treatment of his star linebacker, Ray Lewis.

  11. Some random thoughts as the Ravens near touch down in New Orleans

The Ravens are scheduled to land here this afternoon. By watching the footage of the San Francisco 49ers’ arrival last night and then by attending their news conferences, I was a little surprised how nonchalant and business-like they were. It fits coach Jim Harbaugh’s desire to treat this like a normal work week. I don’t see that as a good or bad thing, mind you. I was just a little surprised that you didn’t see players walking off the plane in fancy suits with video cameras pressed to their faces. Judging by the pictures the Ravens’ players have already posted on their Twitter feeds, I think you’ll see them revel in the moment a little more.

    "Baltimore!"

  23. 10 Awkward Questions for Derrick E. Vaughan

Many English words derive from Latin. Others from Spanish, American Indian, Norwegian. You name a country, an English word probably came from there. But in the grand history of William Shakespeare, some words are invented by brilliant minds. Derrick E. Vaughan, the president of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing, is one of those modern-day wordsmiths.
