3. "State of Ravens" address produces no surprises but spurs some obvious conclusions

By now, we’ve all had some time to digest the annual “State of the Ravens” address. It was interesting and somewhat informative, yet I gather that nothing said by Owner Steve Bisciotti or General Manager Ozzie Newsome was truly surprising to the Ravens’ fan base.

  11. Flacco receives praise from Ravens' Bisciotti, Newsome

Joe Flacco’s performance in the AFC championship game might not have silenced all his critics, but in the minds of owner Steve Bisciotti and general manager Ozzie Newsome, there is no question the 27-year-old quarterback is the man to lead the Ravens back to the Super Bowl.

  15. Ravens fans: Do you really think the Ravens could find a better QB than Joe Cool?

Frankly, I'm amazed at some of the mail that I've been getting in the aftermath of the Ravens' loss to the Patriots in the AFC championship game. Even after Joe Flacco delivered what appeared to be a title-winning TD pass to Lee Evans (that went uncaught through no fault of of the quarterback) and out played Tom Brady for the last three quarters of the game, there are people out there who want to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

  17. Marbella does Edgar Allan Poe: Quoth the Ravens fan, evermore

Sorry, psychics. I saw in The Baltimore Sun this week that you're going to try to contact Edgar Allan Poe from beyond the grave next month. Nice idea, hope it makes some money to save his house. But I beat you to it. I stopped by Westminster Hall this...

  21. Defense can't stop Seahawks one final time

After pulling off one Houdini-like act after another and limiting the Seattle Seahawks to field goals despite their advantageous field position, the Ravens defense needed to force the Seahawks to punt one more time and give the ball back to the Ravens' offense with less than five minutes left.

  23. Gisele Bundchen talks (bleeping) football
