Arundel cruises to third straight triumph

Arundel's early-season offensive juggernaut rolled to its third straight romp with a 56-0 victory over host Chesapeake on Friday night.

Ryan Sedgwick completed 21 of 25 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns and Christian Thornton and Darius Hunter combined for 156 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries to propel the Wildcats.

Kyle Kidwell, Willie Jones, Jamel Walker and Tim Cole hauled in a touchdown pass each for Arundel, which led 43-0 at the half and limited the Cougars to 153 offensive yards with a pair of interceptions by Julian Neal and Ephraim Moore.

Matt Kern paced the Cougars with six tackles to go along with 53 rushing yards.
