Midway through the 2011 season, the Ravens flew out to Seattle to play a young Seahawks team they were expected to defeat fairly easily. The Ravens were 6-2 and were a popular preseason pick to make the playoffs. The Seahawks were just 2-6 after somehow sneaking into the playoffs at 7-9 the season before. Things played out differently, and the Seahawks began to build momentum with their surprising 22-17 win. In that loss, which was met with much criticism in Baltimore, the Ravens fell behind by 10 points in the first quarter.
