1. Jeff Zrebiec's scouting report: Ravens vs. Chargers

RAVENS PASSING GAME: Quarterback Joe Flacco continues to be an enigma away from M&T Bank Stadium. In five road games, he's completed 54.2 percent of his passes for 883 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. In five games at home, his completion percentage is 66.5 to go along with 1,612 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions. In a loss to the Chargers last year, Flacco threw two interceptions and was sacked seven times. He's turned the ball over just once in his past three games.

3. Why didn't the Ravens call timeout before Joe Flacco's interception?

Why didn't the Ravens use any of their three remaining timeouts at the end of the first half prior to quarterback Joe Flacco being intercepted by Broncos cornerback Chris Harris?
The Baltimore Sun
Why didn't the Ravens use any of their three remaining timeouts at the end of the first half prior to quarterback Joe Flacco being intercepted by Broncos cornerback Chris Harris? It amounted to a 14-point swing during the Ravens' 34-17 loss Sunday at M&...

5. Scouting report for Ravens vs. Broncos

RAVENS PASSING GAME: It will be interesting to see new offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell's influence on the play-calling and game plan. The expectation is that the Ravens will loosen the reins on quarterback Joe Flacco, who feels he's at his best in the no-huddle offense. Flacco threw three first-half touchdowns in last Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins, but he turned the ball over twice. Wide receiver Torrey Smith has three catches or fewer in four of his past five games.

13. Ravens news, notes and opinions

By now, I’m not sure what’s left to say about the Ravens’ decision to fire offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and replace him with quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell. Cameron had seemingly been on the hot seat for a couple of years, so it’s not surprising at all that he’s no longer the offensive coordinator. However, the timing is what caught people off guard. The Ravens’ offense made some mistakes in the 31-28 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins but it also did plenty of good things and was not the reason the team lost the game. Harbaugh also insisted that the game had no bearing on Cameron being let go, denying reports, including one by Baltimore Sun columnist Mike Preston, that the two got into a heated exchange on the sideline and it continued into the locker room. Harbaugh did say that he made the decision following the game, so you have little choice but to conclude that something happened during the loss that finally led to the breaking point with Cameron. The CBS cameras clearly caught the two engaging in some sort of disagreement just before the first half. I guess it’s really a moot point because one disagreement or argument didn’t cost Cameron his job. A lack of significant progress by Joe Flacco, a seeming reluctance to get Ray Rice the ball in certain games and an overall inconsistency and malaise by the offense did.
