1. Game 6: Ravens historically awful in 12-7 loss to Jaguars

What was an opportunity to show a national television audience that they are one of the league's elite teams, and to match their best start since their 2000 Super Bowl season, turned into a nightmare for the Ravens on Monday.

  5. Mike Preston: Harbaugh made wrong call not kicking deep

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh likes to talk about attacking, but he needs to attack with common sense. His decision to try an onside kick trailing 9-7 with 2 minutes and two seconds left in the game, and two timeouts, was a poor one. Instead of attempting the onside kick, he should have allowed one of his top weapons, kicker Billy Cundiff, to nail it deep in the endzone. He should have put the pressure on rookie quarterback Baline Gabbert to produce and get a first down. If the Ravens had held, they only needed a field goal to win.

  9. Mike Preston grades the Ravens' 12-7 loss to the Jaguars

Quarterback: F Joe Flacco showed good footwork early in the game, but he never seemed comfortable in the pocket, and was more content to throw screen and dump passes than go downfield. After getting pressure, Flacco lost his poise for the second and...

Paul Kruger wanted so desperately to make a play, but the outside linebacker understood that his eagerness led to a significant mistake in the Ravens’ 12-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday night.

  15. Questionable call results in questionable fine for Pollard

  17. Fantasy Fodder season preview: Ranking kickers and defenses

I enjoyed writing the first four days of my Fantasy Fodder 2011 season preview. Today is not as exciting, though, because all that’s left are the kickers and the defense-special teams combinations. You guys know by now that you shouldn’t address these areas until the end of your draft, so let’s get right to the rankings.
