Digest: In first meeting, Blast fall to Rampage, 5-3

Tony Donatelli scored twice, but the visiting Blast (8-4) lost, 5-3, on Friday night in their first-ever matchup with the Cedar Rapids Rampage (9-4).

The Blast, who had won four of their previous five Major Arena Soccer League games, fell behind 3-0 4:39 into the second quarter. They drew within 3-2 on Donatelli's goals late in the second quarter and early in the third but never led.

Jonathan Greenfield put the Rampage ahead 4-2 with a power-play goal 10:27 into the fourth quarter, and Derek Huffman extended the lead 29 seconds later.
