1. A history of celebrity-owned restaurants in the Chicago area

The week before The Squared Circle opened in mid-March, owner and pro wrestler Lisa Marie Varon — better known as Victoria during her WWE days and Tara currently with TNA wrestling — sat in a corner booth of her Lincoln Park restaurant, conducting one of many interviews that month without having served a single gourmet burger or non-traditional pizza.

  13. Reader Q&A: Dan Pompei's Bears mailbag

This year Gabe Carimi obviously looked nothing like the guy the Bears drafted out of Wisconsin in the 2011 draft. I have recently heard a lot of criticism aimed at Carimi. However, I think what some people don't realize is that Carimi has basically only played one year in the NFL because of the knee injury he suffered in week 2 of his rookie season. Is it possible that during this season Carimi was still recovering from the knee injury? If not, do you think he will ever develop into the tackle the Bears thought they were getting when they drafted him in the first round? -- Peter, Chicago

  17. Billy Corgan's salon hopes to inspire conversation

For an establishment called Madame ZuZu's, the host is pretty dressed down: no flowing silk robe or pointy painted fingernails. And even if Billy Corgan could qualify for madame-hood, he wouldn't be going for extravagance. At least not at 6 p.m. on a winterstruck Thursday, and not in a setting as casual as his new Highland Park tea shop.
